Scrooge's Stocking
‘Scrooge’s Stocking’ is the first pattern in the 2023 Platinum Collection. The pattern was inspired by Charles Dickens epic tale, ‘A Christmas Carol’.
The design features texture, colourwork and lace with each section celebrating a particular part of Charles Dickens wonderful book.
YARN
Three shades of yarn that have a good contrast with each other. You will need 100g of colour one, 50g of colour two & 50g of colour three
NEEDLES
4.5mm (size 7) 16 inch (40 cm) circular needle – 4.5mm (size 7) double pointed needles – 3.25mm (size 3) double pointed needles – 1 tapestry needle – 1 stitch marker
SIZE
One size measuring 27 inches (68cm) and 7.5 inches (19cm) wide.
DIFFICULTY
Suitable for intermediate knitters, some experience of colourwork beneficial
