Mon Ami
Mon Ami is the fourth pattern in the 2018 Platinum Collection. The design was inspired by a visit to the cinema on a chilly day. The colour work pattern of the hat reflects the etched glass doors on the Orient Express.
The main motif is then bordered top and bottom with a tiny railway track. This lovely art deco inspired hat will keep you warm on the chillest of days!
YARN
Aran weight yarn in two colours (110 yards main colour – 55 yards of contrast colour)
NEEDLES
4.5mm (U.S. size 7) AND 5mm (U.S. size 8) 16 inch (40cm) circular knitting needle – 5mm set of DPN’s – one stitch marker – tapestry needle
SIZE
One size to fit an average adult sized head (21-23 inches in diameter)
