Cape Cod Hat
The ‘Cape Cod Hat’ is the second pattern in the 2022 Platinum Collection. The pattern was inspired by the ropes you often see on fishing boats, possibly in harbour at Cape Cod.
The design features some wonderful rope motifs running up the hat from the brim to the gorgeous pom pom on top. The Cape Cod Hat is knitted in bulky yarn so it knits up super quick!
YARN
One skein of super bulky yarn (The yarn used in the pattern had 90 yards (82 metres) to 150g. One skein is 150g).
NEEDLES
8mm 16 inch (40cm) circular knitting needle – 8mm set of DPN’s – one stitch marker – tapestry needle
SIZE
One size to fit an average adult sized head (21-24 inches in diameter)
DIFFICULTY
