Whippy Wash Mitt

The Whippy Wash Mitt was conceived by Kay as she looked for a wash cloth pattern to knit up as gifts. Since she designed it, the ‘Whippy Wash Mitt’ has become a firm favourite at Bakery Bears Cottage. Whilst its the perfect face cloth, its also perfect for washing dishes and even polishing the car!

The Whippy Wash Mitt has the option of being knit in one or two colours. The stitch pattern is designed to look beautiful whatever option you choose.

YARN

88 yards (80 metres) DK weight cotton/linen blend yarn (enough for size large)

NEEDLES

3.5mm 80 cm (32 inch) circular needle for knitting magic loop – 3.55mm double pointed needles – tapestry needle

SIZE

Small measures 7 inches (17.5cm) x 4 inches (10cm) – Suitable for hand circumference 7-7.75 inches (18-19.5cm)

Large measures 7.75 inches (20cm) x 4.5 inches (12cm) – Suitable for hand circumference 8-8.5 inches (20-22cm)
