Sweetie Socks

The ‘Sweetie Socks’ are a nostaglic textured fingering weight sock pattern. The stitch pattern features an umbrella toe, a french heel turn and a wonderful combination of knits and purls.

The ‘Sweetie Socks’ were inspired by the ‘Cola Cubes’, ‘Yorkshire Mixture’ and ‘Lemon Sherbets’. The stitch pattern looks just like a ‘Lemon Sherbert’ waiting to be unwrapped.

One skein of fingering weight yarn (400m/437 yards)

NEEDLES

2.25mm (US size 1) 32 inch (80cm) for knitting in the round (You can use DPN’s if that is your preference) – tapestry needle  – 2 stitch markers

SIZE

Small – 8 inch (20cm) foot circumference 

Medium – 9 inch (23cm) foot circumference 

Large – 10/11 inch (25/27) foot circumference
