Magic faraway Mitts
The ‘Magic Faraway Mitts’ are the second pattern in our Platinum Collection for 2023. These gorgeous mitts features a beautiful cable that twines up each side of the hand. The top and bottom of the mitts are finished off with fun mini skeins.
This design is inspired by ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ books which were a favourite of ours growing up. We will publish two further designs with the same inspiration through 2023.
YARN
50g (approximately 200 metres) of fingering weight yarn.
NEEDLES
2.25 mm & 2.5mm (US size 1 & 1.5) 32 inch (80cm) circular knitting needle for magic loop – You can use double pointed needles if that is your preferred method. Adjust your needle size to obtain gauge if necessary. Tapestry needle and 3 stitch markers
SIZE
One size to fit an average ladies hand, 7-8 inches in circumference. Adjust size by using a smaller or larger needle, and/or by using heavy fingering/sport yarn.
