This fresh take on the mitred square blanket was designed for our ‘Summer of Stitching 2025’. The ‘Hundred Acre Blanket’ includes a pattern and nine tutorials sharing all Kay’s special tips for creating a sumptuous and stunning finished blanket.

Approximately 800g (3400 metres/3720 yards) of fingering weight leftovers and mini skeins.

NEEDLES

2.75mm knitting needles (DPN’s or circular is fine)

50 inches (127 cm) x 38 inches (97 cm). This was 24 squares long and 17 squares wide.
